Sorry for the long absence folks.
We had some trouble with DNS and our old hosting company during the server move.
In a nutshell, we lost access to the old server on Dec 29 at 11:59 pm, 2 days before the end of the contract. Due to this, we were unable to initiate the transfer of the domains on Dec 30, as we had planned.
It took a full 48 hours for register.com (thank god for these guys) to force them through, and another full day for propagation to happen.
Luckily, we had a full backup of all the forums and the sites from Dec 16. This is what we used to rebuild Jimworld and all the forums on the new servers.
In the end, we lost 2 weeks worth of posts, but are none the worse for wear. Our new hosting company, http://www.rackspace.com will not be a problem. I've been using them personally for about 6 years, and have never had problems with them.
Unfortunately, JimWorld's relationship with iserver.com ended badly, and you, the community suffered greatly on more than one occasion because of it.

Glad to have the site back.
I noticed that http://gethighforums.com doesn't work but http://www.gethighforums.com does work.
Also, is there any way to see all the active threads for today or the last x active threads rather than going into each forum?
Perhaps you need a place where people can ask questions, make suggestions regarding the new setup.

By the way, when I tried to edit my own post I got the error: "Denied, you are not the author "

I'll change apache to respond to both addresses.
Nobody has edit permissions yet, I'll be adding those in later on.

I'm glad the site is back up. I was starting to worry that something had gone seriously wrong.

Rackspace is definitely a good host. I've set up a few sweepstakes for them in the past. Good people to work with.
Glad to be back!

We still need a new server from Rackspace ... this is an old klunker that I had there that wasn't being used. It's an old P3 with only 256 MB Ram. We need more juice, but given the circumstances with the old host, we didn't have time to be choosy on the specs.
