Like most movies, I'll wait for the DVD. Go watch it with very low expectations and perhaps you might enjoy it!

Oh come on! Pull her out of school. You can make it one of those 'Fried Green Tomatoes' or 'Thelma and Louis' things. tongue

Well out of the three people I've heard tell me about it today that saw it last night, pretty much all of them said it blew sad. So I am no longer psyched about seeing it.

I thought it was very good. It will never bee as good as the first. But, as Sci-fi's go. I'd go and watch it at the cinema.

You also should get to see the trailer for LOTR 3... which looks excellent.

In my experience hype has a lot to do with how good a movie is compared to previous movies. Judge it based on its own merits.

Oh Oh. LOTR3 preview.. Dang! We shoulda gone.

The morning radio show talked to a guy who waited all night on the sidewalk freezing his tushy off.. his comment was that the theater was really comfortable and he had a good nap.

Found some online reviews that all pretty much across the board diss the story but say the FX are amazing as usual. The common theme was that they should have stopped with 1.

I'm not one who usually pays much attention to official reviewer comments.. most times if they hate it I love it.. Reloaded was great for the visuals and that usually satisfies me, but it wasn't worth fighting lines and sitting in a packed theater like a sardine (which I will do for LOTR). I think we'll go see *Radio* first and then see Matrix in a week or so.

We still had fun though, we went and wandered around the mall and spent wayyy to much money. laugh

I'll probly break down and go see it some night this week, hopefully the theatres won't be as crowded now.

We'll either go tomorrow (a school holiday) or next weekend. Was supposed to go see Alien yesterday with my dad but he had to work :/ hopefully it doesn't leave the theater before I get to see it. It's gotta be great on the big screen.

This movie is suppose to be the other half of the Reloaded movie, right?

My brother liked reloaded but didn't like revolutions. BTW: anybody see the MTV spoof of reloaded? Its on the DVD... We enjoyed that more than the movie itself.

Well my wife and I saw it.. I loved the FX's and loved the acting. My only complaint was that it left a few things hanging. That isn't right. It was a trilogy. Nothing should be left hanging. Other than that - I loved it.

After seeing the second one, I have no incentive to see the third.

The first was one of the best acts of storytelling I'd seen in ages...the second one totally screwed up so many of the things that made the first one cool. Unless the third reverses course and gets back to the basics of the first movie (which I doubt), then there's no sense in wasting the $8.

I've seen only the first one and from what I'm hearing, I should leave it at that.

There are soooo few movies that can pull off #2, #3, trilogy, sequels, etc. that unless it's an extraordinary film, I tend to avoid the sequels in the theaters and wait until I can rent them...

...but do you avoid prequels? I think Star Wars takes the prize for prequels that should never have been!

Agreed. What were they thinking? Yeah, I try to avoid those, too... rolleyeys
