Off to Thailand tomorrow for a few weeks of good food and holidayssmile and of course some shopping for some of their genuine, good value softwarewink

Any advice on whether the latest progs are worth bothering with - photoshop 8 and macro mx 2004?

Also anyone have any advice on which business software to get - quikbooks or Myob? (quikbooks seems easier to integrate with live site)

I'll post a link to my pics when I get back.

No suggestions on any of the above but I am green with jealousy about you going to Thailand. I lived there for three years. You know all about Pantip Plaza obviously. Have you been before?

stevenjm,

Enjoy your trip! I won't response on the software front because I *know* that you aren't asking us to break TOS and make suggestions on what pirated software you should pick up. wink

But just for you...

One night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble
Not much between despair and ecstasy
One night in Bangkok and the tough guys tumble
Can't be too careful with your company
I can feel the devil walking next to me

I had a helo sargeant that got shot down in Laos. It took them 3 weeks to walk to friendly Thailand. Despite all that we still got lost in Ohio trying to get from Kentucky to Indiana!

Distribution deals are very lucrative! Hardware, software...just let them know you are a prominent Internet Marketing Developer, blah-blah-blah!

Hi all. Back again. What a great trip! will post a link to photos.

e10 - I'll put up a pantip pic for you for memory sake.

thejenn - had no trouble apart from running over a cobra in the hills in Chiang Rai on a motorbike and missing the flight back to Australia and having to pay full fare for another ticket back.(one night in Bangkok turned into several)

Going back in July for 3 months of wandering around(thailand, laos, cambodia etc).

yellowwing - would be really interested if you could ellaborate a little on "distribution deals"

greenleaves - You had good reason to be jealous it was a great trip(you can get jealousy payback on me on your next trip)
