I'm an 3D animator from China.I used to work on catoon, game, advertisement.
Now I want to do some business online. Here is my idea, please give me your advice.
I am going to offer some service like making a short movie(like a MTV) for people by their photos
and videos.I can also creat a 3d cartoon hero look like him.Maybe people want it to be a special
gift for lover, child or parents.Maybe they want show it on their website, weedding or party.
Please help me.
1.Do you think if your friends will like such service? And for what, wedding, party or just for fun?
2.How much will you pay a 3-minute MTV for wedding ceremony made by photos and videos.
Thank you very much!

Right now I have no use for such a service so I guess I'd pay $0.00 right now .
Seriously, though, until people can see a real life example, we do not have much to go on. We do not know what the quality such a product would have so it's very difficult to quantify what it's worth.

The first one is my practice animation,The second one is a MTV made by photos,I made it for a friend's wedding. They are not the standard sample, but through them you can image the MTV I mentioned.
I have lots of animator friends. We are tired in working for some local company which gained project from America or Europe company.Maybe many people don't know many 2d,3d cartoon and game made in china.
We have abilities but we can't reach the market directly. So maybe the personal service could be the start.Thank you again help me to telling me your advice.

I was attempting to download your 10MB file and it was taking forever to download and so I aborted and downloaded the 1.3MB file. Slow server connection?
What kind of application will play that file? Windows Media Player will not play it and so cannot be viewed. I'm generally skittish about downloading such files. The examples would have been better done in flash examples for easy viewing.

Thank you!
The file is hard to download because it is free and in China.I can't find the better space.
You can play it by "realone player" which is the most popular media player on internet.
realone player:

Thank you again for your patience.

Downloaded this one: http://fashioncliff.zk.cn/gongfu.rmvb
It was actually pretty cool.
Yeah I can see people wanting custom jobs like that one done. Nice work. I just wish that other 10MB file was faster to download—haven't seen it yet, but will probably see about downloading it.
I'm sure as you develop your service, it will sell. Can't say for how much it will sell as that depends largely upon too many factors to cover. You'll need to price that yourself to make it worth your time as well as convincing people it is worth their buck.
BTW, can you make your link shorter in previous post by using link code in this format:
[ url = http: //www.site.com/ ]link[ /url ]
...except remove spaces within code (I had to type it that way so that the board didn't convert it). Do that so people don't get sideways scrolling because of your earlier post with long URL.

OK seen other video. Of course I've already commented on this and my comments are pretty much the same. You got some talent there and it could develop into a viable business for you. Keep working at it.
