I have a problem that only the great minds on The Search Engine Forums can help me with. For some reason, I have been recently unable to load certain pages; namely Myspace.com and Yahoo Mail. Whenever I try to access them, I get a "Cannot find server", "The page can't be display" All the other sites I go to work normally, those are the only two which don't load. I have deleted the temporary files cache and updated my windows to the max. What is left to try? Thanks ahead of time!

If you're using Internet Explorer, try cleaning up your temporary internet files and re-boot. If that doesn't work, try using a different browser like FireFox.
Also, visit Housecall and scan your system.
(search Google for housecall)

Thanks for the advice. I have tried all of this, and those two pages still are not working. A previously unmentioned fact is that I have another computer on my network, and it cannot go to those two pages either. Is there no solution? I would really hate to have to reformat.

Don't reformat.
Use some anonymous surfing tool like www.megaproxy.com/freesurf/
to visit those pages.
Can you see the sites?

Another great suggestion, and another failure I'm afraid, although it did go a step farther by letting me on the main site this time, it screwed up when i tried to sign in. could it be mediacom in our area? My mom gets to the sites without issue, and she has mediacom but she also lives a couple miles away, so maybe it is just in our area? I can't think of anything else.

If you can see the site then no need to format and re-install.
Search your computer to find a file called 'hosts' {without any extension} on your. Keep a copy of this file as backup. Open it in Notepad and look for myspace.com and yahoo.com. If you found the sites in any line of text. Just delete that line and save the file. Next time you can visit those sites.
Else this could be ISP problem or something else that I can't think right now.
