"Black Friday" refers to the start of the holiday shopping season the day after Thanksgiving. They called it that because it was the day the retailers expected to be "in the black" (profitable).

Did you know there are sites that post the expected sales prices at major stores? If you're interested in buying something specific that day you may want to check these out:

I'm not big on shopping so I'm no expert but those three are the most mentioned. Search on the phrase "black friday" with quotes around it in any search engine to find more.

I tried to check that out but get SQL/DB Error -- [Can't find file: './dealdb_dealdbdealdb/total_deals.frm' (errno: 13)]

Probably just as well as I have too much work to look right now anyway. I love work!
