I came across this site today on my travels:
With the demise of ThreadWatch and other SEO "watering holes", and as blogs and private forums occupy the professional SEMs time more and more, there is a lack of places where one can go to find networking opportunities.
So now it seems we have a new site - seocircuit dot com. Designed to maximise opportunities for SEOers to network together, the site lists major online marketing conferences (SES, PubCon, etc.) and also the facility for individuals to get together, whatever the reason.
So if you ever feel like spending some time in like-minded company, discussing the many and varied aspects of SEO/SEM, PPC, Social Networking, etc - take a swing by this new online facility.
I joined, so if anyone does decide to post up, I'll see you there from time to time.
Best of luck to them - lots of established, SEO-focused places already exist and each has it's own core group of individuals who tend to stick together. I think this new place may end up with a slightly more global feel, so I'm sure they'll find a group who'll call them home.
Their focus is on networking, not so much education like many place such as SEF, SEW, SEL, etc.

That site was started by philh, who used to moderate here, and 4eyes; both names from way back in the past.
