Why is it that the PM inbox always says “Inbox (1)”, but there are never or hardly ever any new messages? Then when I actually DO get a message once every few months or so, I don't know it's there because it always says “Inbox (1)” at the top nav bar. This bug has been in these forums since they were created.

Also, there is no way to delete messages from the PM area for users. A user can push them to trash, but they never actually get deleted. What-up with that? huh

Curt go to your sent box and I bet you will find your new messages. Mine does the same thing and that is where I find them at.

As for this and the trash box I have asked this question several times, never being given a fix for it.

We've asked but haven't received a fix. Beth is correct that you'll find it in your "sent items".

I found my new message in my inbox, not the sent box. The problem is after I've moved the message to storage, the inbox indicator at the top navigation bar still indicates “Inbox (1)” whenever I visit forum pages. So now I never know if/when I get any new messages because the indicator always shows I have one message in the inbox. I checked the sent box and cleared it out, but the indicator still says there's one email in the inbox.

So, inbox is empty; sent box is empty; still seeing “Inbox (1)” in the top nav bar area.

OK, figured it out...

Even though I put the messages in storage, a reply was made and was sent directly to the storage folder. I didn't realize that was happening. OK, PM is corn-fusing as far as how it functions.

Then when I get accustomed to the bug, John Cokos will decide to fix it and I'll be corn-fused again laugh
