Something I think about from time to time is “I wonder how I come across to people in my posts.” Do YOU also wonder the same thing about your own posts?
We often say things that others might interpret as shouting or angry when we really are not upset about something. Sometimes I look at my posts and wonder if someone is misreading my tone. Do you also wonder the same thing about your own posts?

...adding
Take for instance: sometimes I use bold text to emphasize comments. Some might interpret that as shouting or perhaps said in anger. I use bold text or ALL CAPS for a couple words (or short comment) to call attention to them to slow down the reader just enough so the reader doesn't miss the point. That's the kind of stuff I'm referring to.

I never see your posts as being rude.
I often wonder what the mods say about us in private. I wonder if the mods will ever let us see what they say about us back there? They should as it would be good feedback to the people who feel part of this community owing to the time they have been around here, but are still really outsiders as far as the mods are concerned.

I usually try to read in between the lines ( so to speak ) and understand what the poster is really saying..
I also try very hard to post clear and easy to read posts.
Curt you specifically are fine
My HUGEpet peeve in when someone responds to my posts ( not just here ) and has not taken the effort to fully read my post and gives me a 1/2 butted answer lol
I am a MOD at another forum and we do "talk" but only about users who are spammers or causing trouble at the forum.

Wouldn't lose sleep over it Curt. Many times it's the newbs to a forum who take offense if they don't know much about the poster. Like beth says, one has to read between the lines. Hangin around the forums long enough may also help understand the members better
if we only knew what the mods really thought of us
Perhaps we should ask them to start a thread on this

Yes, won't lose sleep over it
hahaha, “ask them to start a thread on this.” Hmmm, do we really want to know what they think. <rhetorical>

Even have the perfect title:
Mods Views on Members
It's short. Straight to the point. Tells the story.
So what do you say Mods? Dare to share?
