Yep, it could. That would not be nice of MS and would prove to everyone that they believe in bullying everyone no matter the consequences.
The gist of the maneuver would be for MS to buy up enough Yahoo stock to gain control of the company forcing Yahoo to sell itself to MS. Can you hear the backlash over that?
