I'm playing around with a website a friend knocked up for me a while ago and I'm a bit stumped. My coding skills are very basic.

I hope this comes out OK :eek:

I'm trying to modify the navigation to add a couple of extra buttons.

The code for this was in 4 lines thus:


Code: [copy]





So I added 2 extra lines and modified the code incrementally so we now have:



Code: [copy]





The image swap isn't working. Here is the javascript for that:

Is there something simple I'm missing? I guess I'm looking for a table defining the r1, r2 r3 r4 etc.

Doh - code blindness.

I names the gif files incorrectly. It works fine.

I have been using CSS to achieve similar effects, and I find that it makes for much cleaner HTML on the page.

There are many places that example code can be found to do this.

Don't like the image rollover code that Dreamweaver generates because it's bloated. Therefore, I code up my own JS routine with about 1/3 of the JS in total character count. I know just enough to be dangerous to myself bigsmile teehee.
