I prefer to not have a preconceived idea of a poster, but rather try to understand what they are saying regardless of age, sex, location or world view. I also HATE cutesy little pics in forums

I don't know.. I kinda like they mystery of not knowing who someone is, but I'll admit I've been suprised a couple of times. I don't think I'd go for a cutesy little pic.. probably just a highlight in a different colour for the nicks something like blue for the guys and lilac for the girls. (As long as its not pink.. I hate that color..)

"I prefer to not have a preconceived idea of a poster, but rather try to understand what they are saying regardless of age, sex, location or world view. "This is fair comment, but it does have advantages to understand some parameters in certain respects. A Feemale will in many but not all cases err on the side of caution in a business venture to a greater extent than many Men would. Cultural differences can also play a part in working out on what underlying basis a member is relying on when making posts

Point is that we are just *people* (well hopefully!) taking about marketing websites. So I don't think it is necessary to have info unless relationships are developed and that sort of thing then becomes relevant to the individuals. Does that make sense?

What colour would you use for aliens who have escaped from Area 51 and are disguised as humans and working in the SEO field as part of a secret interplanetary plot to make Big Brother web sites dominate the search engines until we all go mad with the tedium of watching people sit around and do nothing all day ?

"I have friend who is a rampant queen (his words) - he makes judgements from a female viewpoint - where does this leave us? Anyway, I agree with crash's first point about taking the fun out of it - I remember last year refering to excell as a "he" - how we all laughed !!!

Well that doesn't really have anything to do with whether someone is male or female, but I'd choose the rainbow for theirs. quote: why is allways blue for the guys you girls think we can only see one colour?
Hey Jkcity, go ahead and suprise us girls K? We already know guys only think about sex, food or beer & sports and all three have some degree of a thought process involved.. (well usually anyways) too bad I can't say the same thing about seeing a colour. Proof positive you guys are colour blind, when the mother/wife/girlfriend isn't around to pick out your clothes what do you wear? (Sinoed ducks down to hide, laughing and preparing for the retorts that are sure to follow) lol!
