After a few days of playig with Live here's my short-list:

I like:

That it's as simply as scrolling to see the other listings - makes it easier for searchers to go deeper into the results than if they simply clicked to page 2...better for sites being listed.

I dislike:

I'm starting to dislike the slider-for-detailed-info thingie/idea - doesn't seem to be "remembering" where I left it, so I need to readjust each time - perhaps it's just a beta-glitch - cookies are ON.

The action required to scroll through results take soem getting used to - I like to click on, and drag, my scroll block on the left of my screen to scan up and down a page quickly. Same action in Live nets a very fast drop through the rankings, and with no numbers, you're left wondering where you are if looking for a specific site you know is listed in the , let's say, 80's in the SERPs...small gripe, but it's MY gripe... wink

Hi all

Live.com was slow especially 1st loaded ... takes almost 30+ seconds .. today showing some improvement ? Btw I do NOT like the image search shows no boundary between pages of searched result. Here is another version of ajax-based search engine, askalexia.com, which you guys probably could try on, it's a google-like simple UI+ajax+speed smile
