I do really well with Yahoo and Google and used to rank well in MSN. However, I lost all my rankings off the first page. The forums suggest more links but I add a few good links every week. Any suggestions to get back on top? My site seems to be well optimized.

MSN really really loves pages that are updated on a regular basis. The more often you update those pages with on-topic content the more MSN seems to like your page.
I would check your competitor's number of backlinks on MSN and see how many they have--versus how many you have. If you've got about the same number of backlinks as your competitors then getting more links may not be as much of an issue. Constantly updating your site will most likely help.

Thanks bhartzer, however, I update my home page around three times per month and there is at least one inner page updated daily. Should I update my homepage more often (that is the one that I am most concerned about)?

Yeah I've been updating my pages weekly but it hasn't helped. I've also obtained 9 more link partners, and I'm still falling. Are the pages appearing above yours "spammy". I'm in the finance biz and the pages appearing above mine are nearly all pure spam or dynamically generated pages that use Google for content. A friend of mine works for an SEO company and their thought is that MSN will correct itself in a month or 2, they are still weeding out the spam.
I've been told over and over that MSN is looking for incoming links and updated pages. So I will continue to do so.

The sites above my main keyword are all legitimate. They seem to rely heavly on the same keyword which I know is a no no for Google. I added a few of my main keyword (blinds) and will see if that works without getting the big guy (Google) angry. I am also going to try to update the homepage daily to see how that works.

bhartzer, thank you so much for your suggestion on the updating. I have been doing it daily since the last post and I am almost back to where I was. Thanks again.
