Not sure how long this has been true, but if you have a link with the common error of http:// more than once in the url with anything after it you're taken to www.microsoft.com

It depends on what browser you're using. Internet Explorer has been 'programmed' to react to issues like the one you describe.

That's funny. I'm using Mozilla and bad links take you to Microsoft in that browser. I just tried the same bad link in Internet Explorer and that one did not go to Microsoft's site.

Tried it in IE 6 but I just get a dns error
