Hi,

How long does it take to become fully indexed and lidted in MSN? My site has just under 240 pages and I have 122 pges listed on MSN (I have 231 pages indexed and listed on Google).

I'm just wondering how long it will take the MSN spider to catch up?

I have plenty of back links from sites that are fully indexed. My site is half listed, I am just wondering what is holding up the rest.

Thanks, Louise

There are many factors that influence a search engine spider's crawling activity. So, it could take up to a few months to get all the pages indexed.

More links to those 240 pages from other sites will help get those pages crawled faster and indexed faster. The rest of those pages aren't getting indexed faster because they may not have as many links to them as the pages that are already indexed.

Thank you for your reply, that makes sense. To get the missing pages indexed faster could I copy some links on to those pages to get them crawled faster. I can tuck 3 or 4 on each page. Once they have been crawled, I can always move them again.

Would this work?
