Hi
Im a bit ot a noob when it comes to making sites and SEO. I resubbmitted my site to MSN in JAN after rewriting it in Dreamwaever but the site dues not apear to be ranked. If you type in my url on to msn it is there. However,if you try and do a search for my site using key words like, GP Masters or Grand Prix Masters. my site is not there at all.

I have contacted MSN twice and im only getting stock answers.. can anyone help or give advice.

Thanks

Andrew

Hey Nostradamus,

I'm still a noob too when it comes to SEO and web design too :s lol.

Firstly, you don't have to submit to Search engines, you need links from other websites to you. Search engines kinda 'surf' the web if you will, going from one site to another covering the web. So if there's no links going to you, you won't be found sad

Yeah, Thanks

I know a little about SEO and I have been working on external links for some time. I have had some good results since November and been added to sites all over but still nothing..

rollover buttons? I'm not sure what you mean, do you mean title tags in hyperlinks?

in Dreamweaver you can set up a link as a roll over botton using two seperate button images that thank when the mouse in pointed over the link/button. I was told that clarler find it had to crawl these sort of links and I should add a sitemap to help get around this issue. although having now doen this I am still not MSN lol

MSN doesn't read your JavaScript navigation. Put a couple of hard-wired links in your footer and check out the difference.
