Other possible causes:
1. There may be different databases being searched that have not been synchronized yet. That is often seen on Google.
2. Some search engines are now showing different results and different ads based on profiles or recent searches. They may show different results or ads intentionally based on the idea that if you didn't click on them the first time they weren't as "relevant" as they could be - so they show you different choices.

Where can you find reliable info such as when MSN does an update?
Since my listing keeps dropping, I need to prove to people thats its MSN and not me!
Any Information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
Check out the IP adresses. If the result is from different IP addresses the results may differ. Since data will obtained from several databases.

The ShowIP extension for Mozilla, SeaMonkey and Firefox is very useful in that regard.

This is great thought. I am not sure whether search engines have incorporated this or not but they should surely.
I haven't seen such case mentioned in the original post earlier ever. That is something strange happening to you dear fellow.
With regards,

I didn't originate that idea. I read or heard that they're doing it, testing it, or thinking about doing it somewhere. I'm not sure I like the idea although since I use Firefox and tend to open multiple results in separate tabs it won't affect me as much.
If someone does a search, clicks on one result, goes there, then plans to search multiple times and click on other results having them disappear would be frustrating.
