I am doing a web site ( design and seo ) for a puppy breeding company. They are very convinced that everyone online only wants what is best for their business. They know zero about search engines and such.

I have finally gotten them to agree to do nothing online without first contacting me - before they were making free web sites all over any free pages they could and hitting all those submit your site to 5000 SE for free and such.

any ways. I said all that to try to give you a picture.

Today they got a phone call from MSN telling them they are on page 43 and for 19.99 one time fee they can be placed on page one.

Can anyone give me a simple worded explanation to give them to help them to understand this? I am talking way over their heads and both of us are frustrated.

I agree - but am lacking the words to explain this to them in such a way they understand.

gees why don't people just let us do the work they are paying us to do - explaining this every step of the way is frustrating.... yawn ! headed to la la land been at this since 7 AM...... maybe that is why brain cells are not working lol

hmm not to hard just tell them msn brings the lowest of traffic from the major search engines
but if they wanna do it just let them its their money yeah you shouldn't be the one losing sleep over it, dont let the bed bugs and SE's spider bots bite youwink maybe using that 19.99 for ppc instead would be a good idea too

Google that phone number. I'm sure that MSN doesn't sell Organic Listings.

I have no idea what you were offerred, but it doesn't sound right.
