If you go to www.Alexa.com they will have a "list" of most-visited websites, categorized by topic.

Are you looking for a list of the most visited sites on the net?

If you are alexa dot com can be very useful
Some of their lists:
**Top 500 sites
**Movers and shakers
**Top sites by category

They also have a very cool toolbar which you can download for free
For more information on how alexa generate their lists of most popular

One more question....in your opinion how accurate is their list? I've read the disclaimer regarding various biases, so I'm wondering if there is a more accurate list available.

Alexa is just about as good as you're going to get. As far as I know, there aren't really any other sites like Alexa that shows you this information. There are sites that will tell you about how much traffic a certain sites is getting per month, but when it comes to ranking the most-trafficked sites on the web, Alexa is the place to go.

There are also high end demographics companies like ComScore and Jupiter. Their reports are generally the more respected in the business community than Alexa. The only down side is their reports tend to cost a lot. Sometimes you can gleen some useful information from their free reports...
