We are a successful education company and we have a basic in-house affiliate scheme but we want to go bigger. The basic product is $265 and we offer 10% per sale to affiliates.

We've looked at all the ones we can find and the best seems to be CJ but it's $5,000 to get going and since we can't be guaranteed that kind of return it seems a lot to chance on something we've not tried before.

So, we sent enquiries to TradeDoubler, Linkshare, Fineclicks, Clixgalore and a bunch of others. None of them have replied yet. Useless, in other words.

Can any merchant out there recommend a decent affiliate program which actually works? One that perhaps returns emails and telephone calls?

Very much appreciate any thoughts on this matter!

You might take a look at www.myaffiliateprogram.com, which is one you haven't mentioned.

Well, I've made contact. I can't see them being any worse than the other affiliates I've contacted, but I will post to this board and let you all know.

I read somewhere many moons ago that jimworld was using leadhound.com (I think that url was right) it was suppose to be cheaper than cj. I may be wrong on this info but I'm pretty sure it was jimworld forum where I read this.

Double ditto Chris on Shareasale.com and we are both affiliate management consultants that have started LOTS of affiliate programs. He is a leader in the field, currently oversees management for about 20 top programs, so knows the ropes. smile
