I was curious if anyone here is a member of any marketing associations like...
emarketing Association
American marketing Association
My questions are:
1) Are they worth it (especially the emarketing association)
2)Anyone a member who will not be renewing? Why?
3) Anyone a member who will be renewing? Why?
Thanks, your replies will help some of us decide whether being a part of such organizations is worth the money.

By the number of responses i would suspect that no one is a member.
How about another question then. have any of you ever considered joining?

Hey ,
Well, i may not be in the USA, but my belief on joining any associations or clubs for that matter tells me to go ahead.
The major cause is, Networking. eMarketing Assoc. , may help you get ur next big JV ..who knows ... besides u always end up making more frens.
You get to know more like minded ppl.
You wont believe but the privately circulated tele-nos. booklet for the Association members is worth the membership.
Kind Regrds,
Saumil.
P.S. Just in case u might b wonderin' , I do renew my membership at the local club every year .. lol..!
Take care!
