I have heard AOL has a white list you can apply to get on so your email doesn't get flagged as spam has anyone tried and suceeded?

We got on AOL's white list about 2 months ago and it has helped us tremendously. I would higly recommend working to comply to their standards. If you have questions, don't be afraid to call- they were actually quite helpful, much to my surprise.
