I'm starting into cj displaying some of the advertisiments in hopes to earn a little more cash. But since I don't know anything about this, I am just wondering if it is better to advertise for one particular merchant or go with a few (5-10) or get as many as you can?
I realize that you can only display so many ads per page on a website so it seems that you would want to display the best paying or performing merchants the most. Does this make sense?
So is it better to pick one good paying/performing ad from one merchant and advertise the heck out of it?

Are you running a content driven site or a raw affiliate site?
It depends on your goals too. What are your goals?

Ultimately, you really don't want a lot of ads on a site--you want the best performing ones only.
To figure out, though, which ones perform the best for your particular site, you need to rotate the ads and the merchants (i.e., test them) so you know which ones are the best.

I have started running adsense and multiple cj type grahical ads on each page. (the jury is out still).
My thought is that the graphical ads, if targeted, help "define" your site. Adsense is the one that makes you money.
I think adding highly relevant ads to the site makes the site look richer, and make it popular and active.
