Hi, I want to integrate cj's text links into my site content.
Question: Do I have to use the exact pharse. I am writing a program to dynamically replace text with cj links, and I want to hone in on a keyphrase, not necessarily the exact phrase for cj's advertisers.

In other words, I want to key in on:
    "jeep parts"
    not on:
"jeep parts and accessories at 75% off" <<-- which would be cj's link.

Is that acceptable, or am I breaking some agreement.

I really don't see any problem with it. In this case, you're not changing the actual link, just some of the text in the link, so there shouldn't be a problem.

There are times when you need to read each advertiser's guidelines. As long as you don't add in conditions or terms that are not true or innaccurate, you'll probably be fine. However some merchants are strict about what text you apply to text links. For instance, you may think "bank card" is OK for a credit card affiliate program. The merchant may however prohibit that term from being used. Other credit card merchants may not care if you use that term or not--just interested in referrals.

Great advice, Curt. Definitely read each advertisers' terms of service. Better yet, just ask them if it's okay and they'll tell you.
