Hello,

I'm a Noobtard so please forgive me if these questions have been answered a hundred times already... rolleyeys I have looked and looked, but can't find any answers anywhere. Anyone?

(1) If a visitor has a pop-up blocker, does a pop-under (when blocked) still register as an ad served? If there's difference between agencies, I'm most curious about TribalFusion, FastClick and CasaleMedia.

(2) Windows XP Service Pack 2 implements a pop-up blocker, which is enabled by default. What do you think will be the consequence when MS makes it default from now on? Most people use IE... And as people upgrade their PCs, the newer OSs and browsers will automatically be available also to the feeble-minded...
(A) Bye to pop-up ads by quality outfits?
(B) Arms race to beat pop-up blockers by the "muck" of the web?
(C) Really high CPM for pop-ups targetting the sorry buggers that don't have a pop-up blocker yet?

Any insight - opinions would be great!

Thanks!

As I review different pop under affiliate program, that is, fastclick, CasaleMedia, paypopup. All of them can bypass most of the pop up blocker.

In addition, this affiliate program still improve the pop under code to make sure all pop under can display.

As you see Microsoft action recently, they move and concentrate on spyware remove. This action proves that pop under ads cannot be affected by SP2 alot. And microsoft try to use another method to remove pop
