I am looking at adding an affiliate marketing program for may website. I am reviewing several software products and so far find Post Affiliate Pro Post Affiliat Pro the best. Has anyone used this software? I would like to hear you comments or suggestions.
In addition, I would like to increase my links to my site and want an affiliate software that will count in my incoming links.
Do affiliate links with the affiliate number included in them count toward you incomming links. IE "www.mysite.com/aff=09890"

No, they do not. They actually are pages on your site if they don't redirect to your site properly--and they can actually be considered duplicate content which could get your site into trouble.
If you want your affiliate's links to count as links to your site, then you will probably have to use something in-house and a programmer who really understands how to set up the proper redirects.

I agree with bhartzer. Use htaccess instead.

.htaccess (don't forget the dot before it) is a file that is used to make configuration changes on a per-directory basis on a Unix web server.
You can find out more information about it here:
