I'm writing an article on bloggers who make $35K or more a year blogging.

If you have any people, ideas or resources, please let me know.

I know this is a juvenile question but I have never heard of blogging. What exactly is it. I think I am just not familiar with the terminolgy.

A blog is "an on-line diary or frequently updated personal web page" according to the fanspeak glossary.

There are more definitions here at Google.

How do you make money blogging?

I thought blogging was for talking about your "feelings" and getting backward links to your site.

Some people use blogs to write about topics that are geared specifically for high paying adwords. Take this one, for instance: ((url removed))

    That's hilarious... and ingenious.
You're paid to comment about what's in the blog and then imbed a link.

I need 76,000 of these blog links.. how much does that cost? smile

How can somebody possibly make $10,000 per month by sitting and typing into people's blogs?
I find that pretty hard to believe.?

I understand the value of blogs and advertising. $10,000 seems a bit high. You'd have to type pretty fast!!

sitting and typing into people's blogs

Actually, they're not sitting and typing. Most likely they've created some automated program to do it for them. People progam bots to post onto other people's blogs (or post automatically on their blog or thousands of their blogs).

    Yeah... blog spamming..
I studied that for a few minutes as an option.
    It's pretty low quality traffic.

Has anybody had any luck with blog spamming?

By blogging, what you're really doing is creating content. The more content you create on a regular basis the better your entire site will be when it comes to getting indexed and getting more visitors to your site. If you have more pages indexed and more content indexed you'll have a better chance of being 'found' for keywords and phrases related to your site's topic.

With Adsense and other revenue opportunities popping up every day, $95 a day really isn't unrealistic.

    I'm trying a new project...
really high quality content in a blog on a daily basis.

This is starting to generate a little notoriety. Eventually the dollars will follow.

I'm surprised with the comments I'm getting.

I've written tons of content before. I haven't added new content though on a daily basis. I'm going to do some experimentation with this, but I'm seeing already the substantial benefits to this style.

I'm starting to see that just by writing good quality info on a daily basis you can make $35,000 per year.
