My site, an online magazine, has been going for two years. I run Findwhat Adrevenue Xpress ads (like Adwords) on my main site and forum and I make a bit of money from a couple of good quality affiliate deals. The site has a PR4 and gets around 40,000 page views a month - mainly from the forum which get 30,000 page views a month. I can't help but think that I am not making the most from my site in terms of income. With that many pageviews, the site only clears $400 / per month. I've been thinking of using a few popups on my site but I know how much trhese are hated. Do they work? Is their a minimum display rate? Can anybody give me the name of a few more popup companies? Or can anybody recommend further ways of bringing un some extra revenue? Banner networks, for example.

Do you offer a monthly newsletter to invite visitors back to your site? Have you considered using online advertising and a strong link campaign to bring more traffic?
