Hi,
I have got a website (url in profile) to sell music cds in UK and europe. I would like to go for some real good affiliate program to deliver some good traffic to my wbsite. Please suggest me some good program which can generate good hits and good conversion in the UK area.
I have registered with affiliatefuture and affiliatewindow but I am not getting satisfied results.
Please suggest me some good program and also any feedback on espotting ? how are they ? they have got good traffic rankings (Alexa) but if you go and see the categories, very few listings are there. Please give your feedback on whether to join them or not? And also any other good shopping comparision engine ?
Thanks in advance.

If you want to promote your site in UK, I would recommend google adwords. I don't have any first hand info but this recommendation is based on two facts -
1. As per many webmasters/advertisers, Google has good conversion. But I don't know if they were talking about google.com or google.co.uk
2. Google has GOOD traffic and I heard that google.co.uk get more traffic/searches than google.com
HTH.

Thanks a lot Dinkar.
I have started with google.co.uk
CTR is around 2.1% and conversion rate is coming out to be 1.3% which is a bit discouraging.
Lets see how the results come for a period of one month. Thanks again for the advise. Any other suggestions on Affiliate networks ?

As far as I know, the top UK affiliate network is affiliatewindow
However, I heard that its prices are very expensive.
You should also list in Kelkoo

Thanks derekwong28,
I have signed up with kelkoo... they are good people but not consistent with the performance.
Also, would like to ask one question that how are the months of March April and May in general for getting traffic. I am experiencing very less traffic in spite of higher rankings in search engines as well as good appearence in pay per click engines and going along with 3 affiliate networks.
Any commetns on affiliatefuture program ?
Also would like to know how much time an affiliate network takes to build a good amount of traffic ? Here by good amount I mean that reasonable (comprising of around 25%-30% of the overall sales )

Here are 2 websites that offer a great affiliate program
(off-topic affiliate links removed--Dragon200 was looking for to sell music cds in UK and europe, not free mortgage quotes or a 5 room direct tv package).
