They offer an affiliate software program that looks good. I would like to start my own affiliate program to drive traffic and I find Commission Junction prohibited in terms of cost.
Anyone have thoughts on this?

Never used it, but there are certainly cheaper options to CJ on the market that will save you having to set up and mainatin software. ShareAsale, DarkBlue, Directtrack, MyApp to name a few.

I use assoctrac. It's not perfect but it works well.
Not to mention... Corey Rudl's company developed it, so the support is definately there.
