I was reading through the posts in this category and it looks like a whole bunch of you are having a hard time finding affiliate programs that really work. I've been making and managing websites for over 7 years and I've likely come across over 70% of affiliate stuff out there.
Truth is, if you really want to make the big bucks, you have to go with amazon.com's affiliate program. You want to try to sell the items that would earn you the most commission per sale -- that's not too hard. But some people aren't familiar with how to setup links and people also don't want to maintain links on 100+ pages on their site. There are services that exist that can manage these things for you, which I use and would suggest. One good one that I know of is from Sooksoft. If you are a very advanced web developer, and you want to parse scripts and XML feeds there are some other scripts around that can also help you out, just type "amazon affiliate script" into Google and see what you get!
Anyways, Amazon's affiliate program really is the way to go. One day, a few months from now I'm sure a lot of you will be thanking me. But remember, put your ads for your products in key and semi-prominent places on your website and be patient ... if you build it, the money will come!
