Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a Network where this is no setup fees for new merchants? Just percentage of sales of course. TIA, Jim

Well www.shareasale.com is the best IMHO and is almost free. 150 set-up. But you get what you pay for and if you start on some generic, brand new network that affiliates don't know and trust, you likely will not get any good affiliates at all.
Making the WRONG move for free can cost you more in the long run than paying a small amount to set yourself up on a good foundation for long term success!

Would it be a waste of time listing in Affiliate program directories? Isn't that what Affiliate announce does?

Hi
Yes Affiliate announce does do that, they charge around $75 I think, can't 100% remember.
Cheers

Kowabunga! has released a new affordable merchant solution aimed at smaller businesses for $199 set-up and $25 month. They have been around since the beginning of affiliate marketing and have also won awards for their software.

Kowabunga? If I remember right, they sell something shopping type of software based on data feed from these merchants. Am I right?

No Kowabunga sells affiliate management software - however datafeed capability is built into their software and if you are an affiliate they do have free store builder type tools to help you build an affiliate datafeed site - but they don't sell it - it's free to affiliates.

FREEEEEEEE?
I just blogged about a story I scooped - will share part of it here. Azoogle just launched an affiliate network that has not been formally announced yet, called MPORT. They are offering it FREEEEEEEE to merchants through 2005 - then fees will be similar to CJ only a little lower.

Clickbooth is free to start up. Their affiliate network is awesome! They have the largest payouts and over 350 campaigns. They will work with you and are always there to answer any questions. I would recommend them anyday. Check them out! Trust me you won't be dissappointed.
