We have recently created a new phpbb discussion forum covering network support issues and web design, as well as an area one can submit a website for review. It is spanking new and I am wanting to drive traffic to the site, any ideas?

- other forums
- classified ads in computer sections (check craigslist.org)
- write some articles and try to get them published (online)
- make sure you're offering something different - it's tough to sell the new, but similar, without a good catch
- send out a press release - this will cost some money - amount varies ont he service used
- old standbys - Google Adwords - Yahoo Search (paid)
- might look into an old-fashioned direct marketing insert - folks in this genre tend to subscribe to industry & topic specific mags - distribution companies can get an insert into the pub for you for a fee
