I am looking for some good affiliate programs to increase traffic. looking through some old post i came across cj.com. what others would you recommend?
any have a real good reputation?

As a publisher, I prefer cj.com myself. For advertisers they are on the high end in start up costs now. If you want to find a lot of existing publishers willing to consider your program they could be a good choice.
As in most other ventures, the 80/20 rule tends to apply. (This is the principle that 20 percent of something is generally responsible for 80 percent of the results.) Even at cj.com the majority of affiliates don't produce results.
If you have a niche site you could be better off soliciting specific related sites and offering them affiliate percentages privately. Many ecommerce offerings now include affiliate tracking although there may be an additional fee for it.

There still have many affiliate program you can try such as
ClickBank, Clixgalore, Directleads.....etc , if u are in AU area why not you try checkmystats.

My preference would have to be NBCSearch. I get great support and timely payments, I'd check 'em out.

I use ShareAsale for my affilliate program.
Very happy with them. Much cheaper to use than commission junction.

If you're interested primarily in digital information products (e.g. ebooks), I would recommend Clickbank... I've been very happy with them.
