Hey everyone,

I would like to improve my "media kit" (as I'm sure others would like to do), so I thought that this was the best place to come...

I look forward to the discussion this could generate!

When a forum page clearly states that posts are NOT to be copied and re-posted it is IMNSHO unethical to do so. Here at Virtual Promote we support ethical web promotion and development an so would ask members to respect such policies.

But what this respect entails is not always perfectly clear. This community, for instance IS about sharing information and resources. I have started this thread for discussion of the what it means to respect this community AND benefit from the information here when it comes to settingup ones own mesaage boards-- I have some thoughts but I'd like to open this up before I put forth my suggestions--Renee

Has anyone got any stats on the popularity of email packages? (in the same way hitbox has a table on most popular browsers used?)

I have lots of ad swaps with other ezines to let people know about the site as well as a full page on the www.recipes4learning.com site with linsk to the sites of prizes given away.

Please email me

Please, no replies about the ethics involved...I am convinced by sales and not anythign else, I am a very successful bulk mailer,,, but am looking for a new program or product to sell besides my own stuff.

Anybody out there have a bulk friendly affiliate program. I am looking to send millions of emails a day to any site or offer for a piece / percentage of sales......

SERIOUS REPLIES ONLY!!!!

Has any body bulk emailed for an affiliate program they liked? I can always get sales, I just dont have any products to sell.

What do you mean by "email packages"? Do you mean programs like Eudora and Pegasus or hosts that will deliver email lists?

No self-respecting company in the world would allow you to SPAM their products/services. I certainly hope you never find one that will. Try earning money the right way instead of being a SPAMMER. I assure you that every single time I get one from you you'll be shut down cold.

I can offer a free planner/organizer. Let me know if you still need prizes for your contest.

Thanks,

Gee Whiz..Thanks Ron ...
Did I mention I only use opt in lists.
Funny how people threaten to do something illegal and destructive to counter act what they call the same....
Obviously you have a lot of time on your hands ROn....Business must be slow!
Cheers and thanks for reading my reply and posting a ethical response anyways.
Threatening to crash or shut someone down is illegal and is grounds for your board membership being terminated.....

#1) You didn't mention in your original post about the opt-in part. Tobe quite honest I still don't believe that's what you have in mind.

#2) When did I say anything about "Threatening to crash or shut someone down"??? Not once did I threaten that. What I would do is have your ISP, host and maybe even the mailman shut you down. See the difference there sport?

#3) Did you suddenly become a *moderator*? Guess they just forgot to add it below your name. Looks like it still says "Member". Might want to get that checked. That's the only logical reason I can see for you *threatening* to have my "board membership" terminated.

#4) Why are SPAMMERS all the same?

Don't worry about it Ron. He would have to convince me or Jim, and I am sure you can guess how much we love spammers.

To start the first post "Please, no replies about the ethics involved..." you may as well have written "I send spam and..."

I wonder why he has no products to sell?

... Because spammers are always "between products".

He sure stumbled into the wrong forums to try to promote spam, didn't he?

If he had been at this for very long he would have heard that this is an active anti-spammer community.

Beginners just never catch on about ethics until they have been shut down a few times.

I 6th the motion on hating spam.

ravr,

If you are intending on spamming and it appears from your post and tone of your message that you “do” intend to spam, you will not get a shred of sympathy or help to do so here. You are in the wrong place!

If you are not spamming and I mean you have collected mailing addresses of people that are honestly looking for your email, then you really started off on the wrong foot by opening up the way you did.

This:

quote:
Anybody out there have a bulk friendly affiliate program. I am looking to send millions of emails a day to any site or offer for a piece / percentage of sales......
...stinks of spam big time and is the very way spammers send email to people not requesting your email.

You know what you are doing and “if” it's spam (a.k.a. UCE), I pray that you get tons of fines out of it and get hauled into court. If not, you might want to try apologizing for the way you came off. You see, we have seen many spammers post the precise way you did which says “spammer” to us.

All spammers everywhere, do not ask us to give you assistance in spamming. You will only get well deserved harsh words from us.

Ravr,

If you are so successful as you say you are, why are you asking for a bulk e-mail friendly anything?

Next, please share your product with us and your mailing list or ezine URL.

I rest my case.

ravr,

If you were a good salesman you wouldn't have to spam, your former cliënts would promote you.
