    I am in the process of deciding what kind of website I should develop. I have three very skilled web developers in my company, and 2 part-time designers. I am looking to develop a website and promote it.

    Please give me your suggestions, should I go with a personals site, a search engine, or what?

    It depends on your goals and your budget. Find an industry that you are passionate about. I would go with a specialty directory. Links from a popular directory are very valuable.

    First, find an industry, then do the keyword research to see how difficult it will be to compete in that industry. If it's going to be too difficult, then pick another industry.

    It makes more sense to base your internet business decisions (like this one) on keyword research, not just ideas for websites.
