    We are having difficulties to find a merchant account provider for a jewellery e-store. Can anyone advice or recommend some merchant account providers that deal with such business without problems?

    They have a sister site, Merchant America that is geared to the internet. For $19.95 a month they supply you with gateway and secure pages for payment. Phone support is available 24/7, and they are very helpful--surprise!! Rates are 2.57% + a small fee per transaction. E-checks are supported, and there are several shopping cart options.
    You can also go to their virtual terminal [internet] and enter phone orders. They have an option for entering a charge via touch tone phone, in case you sell at antique shows, etc.

    I am not an affiliate, but I have just dropped Paypal in favor of this REAL merchant account. [Paypal can get just scary if you have any problem.] So far, I have nothing but good things to say about them.
