Just thought I would pass on my experience
of how 2checkout screwed me

Signed up, paid the set up fee
did a payment myself, it took 3 weeks to get it back, ok so they had a few troubles I thought, so ok 21 days Although not great I could live with it due to tech problems.

So now I get a payment for advertising on my site, for , April 23rd
2checkout does releases on the 1st and the 16th, well May 1st the records show my money was released, on May 3rd no show to my bank account, ok so I do a support ticket, reply is yes it was released but after payments were sent out, it will be released May 15th, so ok Sh*t happens, LOL ya right so here comes, May 15th, June 1st then June 15th, same answer except the last one, now they claim even without sending out notice of change they will not send payments until it reaches limit

So to make a long story short, they are just like affilate programs that change there rules, when it gets close to actually having to send money, although 2checkout is even worse, They are holding MY MONEY and will not give it to me

SO beware, do not use 2checkout.com
My opinion

Thanks for Listening

I have been using 2co for 2 years. Never ONCE was there a problem with payment from them. I actually lost a check twice and the even sent me out another one.

I have found that their payment release and receipt works like clockwork. I also assumed that the minimum release amount was #100

I joined them and cancelled pretty quickly because of the delay in getting money. It is really hard to find a company that delivers money fast to your account and in my case I have to purchase the product to make the product ordered and I have to have that money in my account to do so as it is often over $500. to get the items I need. 2checkout.com has not worked for me in this end, honestly, the best company for me right now has been Paypal and I know that so many people hate them but for 2 years now I have transferred over $10,000. per year and it has worked perfect for me. I have my money within 3 days and it cost me less then my merchant account did - a lot less. Still always looking for a better system and have investigated them all - every single one of them has complaints.

Not sure what you mean by - "ikobo" type situation

I posted this situation, to give others an opinion of how they do business
I'm sure they don't treat every customer the same
and in my opinion, as the person above has had no problem with them
To do business on the internet and stay in the top postion, they need to learn
how to treat the customer equal

I too now use Pay Pal cause I get my money, it is not held
for any amount,

In my opinion, when they act as a merchant account, and get fee's for accepting
credit cards, how can they justify holding your money until it reaches
a certian dollar amount, as it is for a $10 payment they if they had released the money, they would be getting 15% of it, Fee's and a hold payment, for whatever reason.

To run a business and to succeed you need the cash flow, and when
a company says payments released 2 times a month, but then changes rules
so your cash flow becomes not accessible to build your business
Why would you use them??

Steve

I agree - you would not bother. I have been looking into cc solutions myself and am amazed there is not a single third party proccessor that keeps the majority happy and is good value. Also that its a waste of time trying to research them via forums due to the large amount of misinformation and spam.

The whole online merchant system worldwide is also a joke - at least from an Australian point of view , the fees are outragous and the merchant takes any loss that arises and what do the banks get:- nothing but huge risk free profit. They won't even share fraud or chargeback statistics. Theres such a monopoly its like being forced to deal with the mafia.

If I ever saw a bank boss that needed help I'd look the other way(Thats if I could hold myself back from running him down with my car).
