Paypal has already been used and the drop-off rate is too high for this guy.

He's after a more global solution - PayPal only works if you have an account...which is why the folks are dropping off...

This is a guy with a business, so time counts gang. smile

Thanks for the help.

Duane

Google Checkout is another option.

Thanks Bill - looks like a good option.

I did forget to mention in my initial post, this business would like the option of setting up recurring payments for it's users - so options with that in mind if anyone has them...

I also needed recurring payments. I was not able to get this anywhere until I moved my business to a professional fulfillment center. They have all the systems setup and just charge you a small fee to use it. It saves investing in software and technology and they have all the security that one could never provide yourself on your own server. Some fullfilment centers will let you use their processing and then send you the orders so you can continue your present system. email me if you want more info, unless there is an ecommerce forum....

Thanks mj - though I'll ask if you could just post the name of the company (no link, just the name), so anyone reading this can benefit from the info.

Thanks again. smile

authorize.net would be one option - they've been around for a long time for online credit payment processing and have built a pretty solid rep though you may need to find a reseller to gain subscription, a google of this search string brings up a few 'merchant account - subscription recurring'

however in most cases, espeically for something like recurring subscription billing they will still need to create an account with whatever processor is chosen.

You don't have to open a PayPal account to check out at a Web site using their service. See PayPal Merchant Services information.

You may want to know that they have a merchant referral program that pays up to $1000.
