We are currently using PayPal and Clickbank to accept credit cards. Clickbanks rates are too high.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend other reliable payment processors. I am a bit worried about 3rd party processors after hearing the stories of paysystems, asiadebit and payzip.

Any advice is appreciated.

Yahoo has a joint venture with a company called Pivotal Payments. They have lower rates than most other merchant accounts and they have a special offer for new accounts that provides Credit for Free Yahoo! Search Marketing Ads.

Another plus to considering them is that they understand PPC so if you want to ramp up sales they are far more likely to grant higher merchant account limits than most banks would consider.

I've run into that issue with an advertiser I know could have triple their current sales this month if their current merchant account limit would allow an increase of that magnitude.
