Hi,I have recently finished work on my image search engine. I would much appriciate it, if some of the people to frequent this site, would try it out, see if there are any query logic bugs or have any suggestions on how to improve the search. The search can be found at http://mediaminer.org Thanks

I'm in NO way an expert on this matter, but I will let you know that I performed a couple searches and noticed the following:1. as I paged through the images, a lot seemed to repeat and mostly seemed to be child-like drawings that weren't particularly relevant to the search. (No criticism here, just info on my results of an admittedly obscure search). 2. On another search for dogs, the images all seemed relevant. 3. when I would try to view the larger image, if I tried to go back to the page of the original search results I got a "page expired" error. Maybe that's normal--don't know, but it was somewhat vexing, since I'd have to go back and repeat the whole search. 4. Also, the images are so small it's hard to see what your results were. I realize you might be trying to show as many results as possible at a time, but that does mean I have to click on the image, get a page with just that one image but it's still too small to really see the detail. So I click again, and I get a full size image which is usually pretty nice. But when I try to go back to the original page of search results, I get the page expired error. Again, absolutely no criticism here, just telling you what I found. hope it helps

Here is a New Image Search engine that works by downloading full-sized images and displaying them as a slideshow.
Netvue Image Search
