Hi there! How to promote a niche directory? Saying a restaurant search engine!!!Should I promote it in the same way they promote a website – meaning submit it to major search engine and directories? Is there an other way? How to persuade restaurant sites to be submitted on? Any sought? Thanks

Well you have two markets you need to attract: 1. general surfing public, and 2. webmasters for your niche.Yes you should promote it just like you would a regular website. Also you will want to hunt for directories of directories like: http://www.the1000.com/ here at JimWorld. These appeal to webmasters and will help get you new listings.
