I have a awesome idea for a search engine and need need more information on I can purchase a spider or where I could get one. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

How many pages will you index? Do you have server level access.(can you run programs)? Or do you just have acces to a cgi-bin.?

I'll start out with as many as my server can hold and then as the investers start coming in I'll add more servers. Basically I am looking to get a spider very similair to a googlebot, very powerful and deep crawls.

ajkd7, take a look at http://www.innerprise.net/es-index.asp. It's a spider that can index from the web.
