what is web blog.Can any one of u tell me.and even what does it do and how is it useful

blog stands for 'web log' which is essentially an online journal. Many blogs focus on specific issues or industries, just depending on the writer's fancy.
Its useful for posting whatever musings, thoughts or insights you might have for the world to see.

Same way you get traffic to anything, I guess, find ways to promote it. If you use a blogging service I beleive that when you post links to other blogs in yours, they'll know about it. If your content is good they might link back to you in a post or two.
