Hmmm... This is looking good. I am seeing traffic coming in and I think this engine has some useful stuff for actual users.

Check it out Aussies: www.ansearch.com.au - Monitoring for Popularity

I was worried when you posted that this was related to MySearch.com (the scummy one that is also known as MyWay Speedbar. That company has written a number of parasites & spyware to hijack homepages to direct visitors to the sites owned by MyWay. [link])

I looked it up, apparently AnSearch is registered to a Dean Jones. If it was related to the MySearch.com site that I'm thinking of, it would have been registered under their company name. I checked their website, and from the about us page: "Ansearch is a subsidiary of Optum Group Ltd (Optum)." which is not the scummy MySearch group of companies. I'm wondering if that is why the name was changed - if so good move for them!

Its a different tactic on personalizing the search isn't it? But doesn't their philosophy pretty much exclude smaller web businesses? I would think using that theory most of the larger corporate sites are going to bounce to the top.
