Hi this is my first post allow me to introduce our search engine and describe its main aims.
Put My Finger search engine and directory was born early in 2005 and to date has had very little publicity due to testing and development work on our behalf. We are now pleased to announce to the web we are open for business.
Now we are not going to make any ridiculous claims we are going to be the next big search engine everybody else watch out, NO, but what we are hoping to achieve is revolutionise the costs of advertising on search engines. Coming from an e-commerce background I know the costs involved with internet advert campaigns and how they can spiral out of all control. Enter, Put My Finger, we work on the old fashioned banner ads either 468x60 or 125x60. "Banners" I hear you shriek yes banners on a fixed month price basis. For 1 month you pay for your banner in a section of your choice, it does not matter if your banner is shown 100 or 10,000,000 times the price stays the same. Now for this to work we need visitors and lots of them to make it a cost effect investment for the advertiser. Initial findings from one of our beta customers proved without doubt they had more ROI with a Put My Finger front page banner that cost up to 50% less than budgets they would spend on just one of the main search engines pay per click campaigns which left them half way down the 1st pages PPC listings, now bear in mind that this was beta testing with a limited number of visitors and I think advertisers can see the potential already. We also offer other features such as sponsored or featured listings
Another critical feature from our point of view is that we want quality web site submissions to enhance the overall search experience of the engine. Lets be frank here we do not accept spam every submission is human reviewed, edited or deleted as necessary.
