Lycos directory, changing all the time. After last week, of where are the directory results (which turned out to be hidden)we now have the directory results clearly marked. Which make things much easier. Thanks Lycos. Even better news is their database. They have made some really big advances in getting sites listed. I have had some sites that have taken years, yes years to get onto their directory database and now in the last week have got listed. Have Lycos now turned the corner and are going to be truelly great player.

If I am not mistaken, that tag is found in a form, and its contents are not displayed on the page. It is another way to stuff keywords into a page, but it also is another way to spam.

Yeh i like it too, i got a site listed there for a month ago (they have messed up the URL But it's there anyway)So i agree with you, nice that they have taken the directory results in to the SERP's.

spam - that's right - when used to add keywords. Also used to direct a FORM action - not spam

Thanks guys, I'm about to do meta tags for a client and searched for " pest-control " in Alta Vista and the site that ranked first was http://www.generalx.com/. So, another example of spam... Haven't seen this one before. I'll avoid it. Thanks again Joey
