The same guys that run this are the same that ran "PaidforSurf.com". They will pay for a few months then stop and then make payments for another few months then stop. They build it up then take all the profits for them selves.

They actually work VERY hard at stopping spam and fraud.
I know this because I do about 3 hours of work each day with them on this very thing

Yeah, but do you know if they are legit and worth my time using?
From what I've read so far, doesn't seem to be worth my time... sigh.

I would like to rid the air of the myths. BlowSearch is most definitely a trust worthy site. Our main company is AdOrigin Corp, and we have been paying affiliates every month for almost the past 3 years. I am one of the Partners of BlowSearch and feel we offer a great affiliate program.

I posted the smiley only because I'm finding this entire thread to becoming quite entertaining. That is to say that it always amazes me just how many people can be on opposite sides of the fence of the same topic I know nothing about the site, but John seems to be vouching for the site and that's good enough for me having no experience with them at all

I vouch when I can, and when I know the facts.
I can tell you that the guys at Blowsearch called me every hour for 3 straight days at the tail end of last month, because a mistake that I had made in their programming was going to make them late on their payments.
They spent every spare minute working on me (and with me) to get it taken care of so that people would be paid in full, on time. That says a lot to me.
On the fraud stuff, same thing. They monitor it constantly, and are also alerting me as they find new trends, or any new possibility of fraudulent activity. We work very hard to eliminate these threats as they show up.
While I cannot speak for anything anyone's heard about them in the past, I can speak volumes for the thoroughness and tireless effort that they are putting into blowsearch.com. I've been refreshed to see them in action. .... and I don't say that very often.
(aside: I'm posting here not as the Forum Administor, but as John, the member... I'll try and make that distinction when I post into threads like this)

About 50000 members of PaidForSurf would disagree with Jcokos. As I stated in an earlier thread, the affiliates will work hard and eventually get screwed. There were many empty promises from Rich and Marcello on getting paid that we hard working members of PaidForSurf heard.
How about hearing from other disgruntled members of "Not" PaidForSurf.

Like I said in my post, I don't know the first thing about PaidForSurf or any of their past ventures. I comment only on my experience in working with them on the Blowsearch.com project, which as I stated has been refreshing.

Comments from disgruntled paidforsurf customers (as you encouraged) will not be allowed in this thread. Comments from those with blowsearch affiliate experiences will be allowed.
Internetloser ... you seem to be trying to derail this thread as an unhappy former paidforsurf affiliate.
While feeback regarding blowsearch is appreciated ... this thread is not about paidforsurf and internetloser you have already mentioned once that the owners of blowsearch are related to paidforsurf. Please realize this thread is not a place to discuss or resolve your personal experiences between yourself and paidforsurf. Private messaging is available or contact them directly.

Logan,
I'll respectfully disagree .... slightly, and allow Internetloser a little bit of leeway here. While the thread should remain on topic with regards to Blowsearch and not move into PaidForSurf discussions ... I do think that a companies past experiences & endeavors could be relevant to individuals interested in doing business with them.
I don't want to stifle honest discussions, but at the same time, don't want to see this conversaion degrade into a battle of cheap-shots either.
Loser, you're on probation with this one

Well, since Internetloser is bringing up PaidForSurf, I can address that for him to clear the air, because PaidForSurf paid it's members based on the User Agreement. The user agreement stated that PFS would pay "up to 70% of Net Profits". We did pay that out each month that we had profits. PFS was loosing money for a long time, month after month as cheating became wide spread driving companies like PFS out of business. We paid our memebers as often as we had profits. In order to continue paying our members, we first lowered the owners salaries, laid off our support staff and paid 100% of the net profits. Next, we reduced the owners salaries month after month until we stopped taking salaries so we could still pay out our members. We did everything we could to keep the company up and running including running the company for over a year with no income to the owners at all. I would be more than happy to go into details with you if you'd like to explain how we did everything in our power to keep the company going.
In either case, if you take jcokos's statement, "a companies past experiences & endeavors could be relevant to individuals interested in doing business with them"..and apply this to what we did you can see that we will do what we can to keep a company alive. Also, the new system pays out a percentage of GROSS...so every dollar we bring in gets split up and paid out regardless of our expenses.

jcokos,
I appologise for getting personal. I am just warning those in this Forum to be careful. I do not want to see anyone be burned as many others as well as my self have been. When
PFS was opperating they once had a forum as well but shut it down once it got negative about them. They can defend themselves all they want but "History does repeat it self"
