Anybody heard of tygo.com search engine? If you give them $25/month, they will rank your keyword on the top sponsored site and you can get unlimited clicks. Basically they are saying you own the keyword if you pay them $25/month. So no one can bid out. That sounds to good to be true. Is it a small scam search engine with little traffic? Maybe I'll be getting 10-20 peopole visiting my site only. Please let me know if it's genuine offer and a genuine search engine?

    Thank you

They don't seem to be scam. They have over a thousand back links in google. An alexa 47,000 and a PR6. That is not bad. It don't think they will send you much traffic, but hey, what do you expect fo 25 bucks? I think if you get 25 clicks that is alot. But that depends on your keyword. If they send you 25 clicks for 25 bucks (a dollar a click) that can be cheaper than biding on OV or Adwords where some keywords cost 25 dollars a click! I am not recommending the service, I don't even like flat rates unless I am placing an ad on an industry specific site (and they don't offer it, I request it). Anyways...

Ixquick has 4,230 back links in google. A PR8 and an alexa 5k. It seems to be a better deal, but different places offer different traffic, what may work for one industry may not work for another.

Internet Jockey, have you used them, did they it work for you, and if so in which industry? (if you can tells us)

hitanshu, if you can find the time (and can), please post your experience here, it would be helpfull, and I am interested in hearing your experience.

    Greetings,
My name is Nick smile Figured I'd drop a line since you guys are talken about Tygo. Although Tygo.com does not recieve as much traffic as Google or Yahoo we're growing at a steady rate of 15-20% each month currently.

There are three type of advertising none of which are Pay Per Click, instead they are flat rate placement. Meaning that you pay a set price per month for each keyword. The three type of Flat Rate Placement advertisements are Presidential, Premiere and Words the pricing of the ads do start at 1.00 a month and go up to 25.00/mo(Presidential).

Anyone who has questions about their success with Tygo should email support@tygo.com we're very open to hearing how the campaigns are working and want to help out everyone with the new system.

Tygo people, including myself have been at many of the search engine conferences handing out promo cards for 250.00 credit to spend on Tygo advertising. smile

Nick Tygo - better watch out with your billing practices. I recieved a call from VISA today - 11 charges on my card from you guys. I removed all my kw's a year ago, now suddently you are trying to bill my card for a years worth of services not rendered, or desired?

Please check your support email and reverse the charges according.

Seems resolution of TYGO's billing problems, by TYGO, is sporadic. I received something like 17 charges put through on my card, totalling over $2k. I called and complained - unaware that I'd signed up for anything on a monthly basis - and knowing that I'd have cancelled it immediately after the first monthly bill if I had. But not 17 months later.(and you'd think I'd have seen some traffic in my logs, which also would have tipped me off, but nothing there).

TYGO refused to chargeback the funds when I called. In fact, whoever I spoke to said that if I went through the card company for a chargeback, they'd just put the charges through again eek. I hung up at that point.

Anyway, I called the credit card company and they did a chargeback, I got my $2k back. And given that TYGO had told me they'd run the charges through again, I had to go to the next step and cancel that credit card.

A bit of Googling shows other with similiar problems though not many with charges as high as what they slammed on my card.
